Hawkeye Spas Jupiter Review

We use the tub all year long
The Hawkeye Spas Jupiter is my first hot tub and my wife and I absolutely love it. We use the tub all year long even here in Buffalo N. Y. We find that the upkeep is fairly simple along with maintaining clean and clear water, the Spa monthly and the tablets to use weekly make things so easy. I would like to be able to order my chemicals on line if that is possible I don’t know. All in all I would highly recommend a Hawkeye Spas to anyone who might be looking for one. The comfort of the seating and the many adjustable powerful jets make it Great and worth it.

Thanks for the fun times!
We love our Hawkeye hot tub. I bought it in 2004 and it is still functioning and looking good today. I need to purchase new head rests, filter, and a drain catch to be able to keep it another 10 yrs. Thank you for the fun times we have had with the kids!

Very Pleased with Hawkeye Manufacturing
I had some issues when I first got my Hawkeye Manufacturing Hot Tub. I remember it being quite frustrating at first, because I finally got my tub delivered, and I was so anxious to start using it. Well turns out I couldn’t get the thing fully operational for two whole weeks. Now that I’m over all of that though, I realize Hawkeye really did try to solve my problem as quick as they could, and for that reason I am happy.

The issue was with my second pump not working. The hot tub repairman had to come out 3 times to figure that out. The reason I’m writing this Hawkeye Manufacturing review is not becuase of that issue. I really was just impressed with how they did not make me pay for a thing and they were very apologetic the entire time. They explained to me the pumps they use rarely have structural defects. Just my luck I guess. They were a huge help in geting it fixed. They even rush delivered a new pump to my house at no extra charge which I felt was above and beyond. You can probably tell I’ve had some really bad experiences with customer service and especially warranty coverage and repair. Hawkeye Manufacturing however deserves an A+ in all of these categoriies. Now that everything is figured out, I am 100% satisfied with my hot tub and with Hawkeye Manufacturing in general.

The Hawkeye Ambassador is Very Comfortable
I’ve had the Hawkeye Ambassador Hot Tub for 3 years now and I still love it. I don’t use it much in the winter time, because I like use it to cool off mainly on summer nights. Just fired it up again and still runs like a champ. I also like the way the seats feel. I was able to try out a few different ones before I bought the Ambassador, and I’m glad I did becuase the neck nad shoulder jet area fits my shoulders really well and the lay down seat feels really nice on my legs. I love my Ambassador hot tub, and would definately refer this company too anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable tub.

I use my Hawkeye Spa more than I thought I would
I own the Hawkeye Venus Hot Tub Spa, and this is the 2nd spa I’ve owned in my life. I owned a cheaper quality hot tub back in the 94 that I never really used much. I use my Hawkeye Spa way more than I thought I would. I really bought it for the kids and the wife, but it turns out, I use it even more than they do. It is extremely comfortable and the Neck and shoulder jets are absolute heaven. I didn’t get the neck massage in my old hot tub.

I’ve my Hawkeye Spa now for about a year and have had no major problems. It’s been a bit tricky figuring out the chemicals, but I think I’ve found one that works based on natural chemical enzymes. Thanks Hawkeye for a great hot tub, and for leaving me pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Very Efficient Product
I purchased my Hawkeye Spa from Hawkeye Manufacturing 19 months ago. I work in the field of circuitry engineering, so I was quite curious to gauge my spa’s performance over time in our colder rocky mountain winter months. I have been pleasantly surprised with it’s effeciency. The average Jan-Mar increase for the past two winters in my electric bill has been $36.73 when compared to previous years. I did factor in to this calculation the increase in energy costs which did rise slightly, so this is the actual increase in dollars. The consumption during summer months is of course less. It requires less than half of that number at $16.23 per month.

Hopefully the information I submitted here in this Hawkeye Spa Manufacturing review helps. When I was shopping for my spa, I heard a bunch of different numbers, and I couldn’t find solid specifications or electrical increase estimates anywhere. It is now safe to say that I made the right choice with Hawkeye Spas. They are well insulated, well built, and they don’t cost a fortune to run, even up here in the mountains!

The guy on the phone at the Hawkeye factory helped me out big time! He helped me program my keypad, because I couldn’t figure it out at all why my water was cold. He had me change the heater setting over the phone. He was real nice and told me what to do step by step. After I waited a few hours, sure enough the tub heated right up. Keep up the good work and thanks again for your help and for being so patient with me!

Hot TUb Steps Issue
My hawkeye spa has been wonderful, and I do like all the features; the lights, the strong jets, and the beautiful waterfall. The reason I am writing a bad review for hawkeye spas manufacturing is because it took a very long time to get the steps sent to my home. When I bought my spa at the fairgrounds, I didn’t think about if I needed steps to help me in and out. I am 68 years-old, and believe me it’s not as easy as it used to be to climb in and out of things. So, I called Hawkeye Manufacturing and had them ship me some steps. I even asked them to hurry. Well, it ended up taking over a week to get them to my home, then I had to have my neighbor put them together for me because they were apart in a box. I wish I bought them put together already. I am not good at working with my hands at all. Anyone who is reading this, if you need steps with your jacuzzi, get them at the same time so they are assembled already and you don’t have to fuss with them.

Prefect amount of space in my Hawkeye Spa Eclipse
I just recently got my spa but know I will use it every day of my life. The model we have is the eclipse. It is just perfect for my husband and I to enjoy with just enough space. I am just starting out with it but, I’m still in the process of getting to know my spa and how it works. I’m still trying to get the temperature and the water quality/chemicals correct which has been a bit of a challenge, but other than that, we are really happy with our new Hawkeye Spa.

Water line always shows
Overall I am happy with my Hawkeye spa. The only complaint I have about Hawkeye Manufacturing is the sales guy I had at the garden show gave me wrong information. He I would have no problem with the water line, on the side, and now of course I do. It’s on there literally all the time. I wipe it down when I get in, and before I get out the water film line is right back on there again.

I called up the tech support and filed a complaint with Hawkeye Manufacturing directly about the salesman I had. They did apologize, and the woman I talked to was pretty nice. She said this can happen sometimes because of the color of my spa shell (Green), and that it doesn’t happen as much with other (lighter) color shells. The only reason I’m upset is because the salesman told me the green color would be fine and it wouldn’t show a water line at all. This obviously is not true. Other than the line issue, I’m really happy with the spa. It runs great, and it feels fantastic on my achy back. I just wish I would have been properly informed about the color.
